1234 and 1236 of the Vikram era. There is an inscription that in the year 1252 of the
Vikram era, this temple was renovated and six squares were built by the King of the city
of Chandravati. A stepped well (vav) was gifted to the jain Sangha by Shrungardevi. It is
called the Lokdev Vav. The inscriptions show that this was a prosperous city in the past.
