Mulnayak: Nearly 140 cms high,white-colored idol of Bhagawan Mahavir Swami in the Padmasana posture.

Tirth: It is on a small hill outside the Varman village.

Historicity: There is an inscription showing that this temple was built by the rich merchant Punig and others in the years 1242 and its pendal was built in the year 1446 of the Vikram era. All this shows that this temple belongs to a period prior to the twelfth century. The ruins, the ancient vav (stepped well) and wells that are found here show that this was a big city in the past. This is the place of origin of the Brahman gachchha. The sun temple here is among the famous sun temples of India. A fair is held here on the thirteenth day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra every year. At present, this temple is under renovation.

Other Temples: There is no other temple.

Works of art and Sculpture: The art of the idol of Mahavir Swami is superb. The ancient art on the ceiling and the domes of the temple is spectacular. The two idols of Bhagawan Parshvanath in the Kausagga posture, the idols of Lakshmidevi and Ambikadevi and other idols are very delightful to see.
