Mulnayak: Nearly 58 cms high, parikharayukt, white-colored
idol of Bhagawan Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.
Tirth: It
is in the Sesali village on the bank of the Mithadi river.
Historicity: In the year 1187 of the Vikram era, Mandan Shanghvi
built a splendid pinnacled temple at the expense of lakhs of rupees, brought the idol of
Bhagawan Parshvanath from the neighbouring village of Nadlai and got it installed here. It
is inferred that in ancient times the Sesali village was a rich, and prosperous city. This
temple was renovated many times. Its last renovation was accomplished on the fourteenth
day of the bright half of the month of Ashadh in the year 2020 of the Vikram era. A fair
is held here on the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Bhadrapad and on the
fifteenth day of the bright half of the month of Kartak.
Other Temples: There are no other temples.
Works of art and Sculpture: This idol belongs to the times of King
Samprati.
The beauty of this idol is extraordinary and delightful to the heart. The idol of Sesali
