Mulnayak: Nearly 100 cms. high, black - colored idol of Bhagawan, Sahastrafana Chintamani Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.

Tirth: It is in the Lodrav village.

Historicity: In ancient times, this was a large and prosperous capital of Rajputs. In a horrible uncle - nephew fight, the whole city was destroyed and this idol was also damaged. When Jesalmalji established his new capital at Jesalmer, this idol of Bhagawan Chintamani Parshwanath was taken from here to Jesalmer. This temple in Lodravpur was renovated and people were is search of a new idol. Fortunately two craftsmen were carrying to Multan. extraordinary and very beautiful idols that they had made during their life time. They halted there for rest. The divine power asked them in a dream to give over the idols to Dhiru Shah. The rich merchant gave gold equal to the weight of the idols and got them. The installed idols are present there even today. These idols were installed under the auspices of Acharya Jinarajasurisvarji in the year 1673 of the Vikram era. This is an ancient tirth of the group of the five Jesalmer tirths. Reins of thousands of buildings scattered about in the forest, remind one of the ancient history of this place. The presiding deity of this place is ever present and miraculous. Therefore, in the course of many invasions, this region was also destroyed but this idol is not destroyed.

Other Temples: There are no other temples but there is a dadawadi in the dharmashala.

Works of art and Sculpture: It is difficult to see elsewhere such miraculous and artistic idol of Bhagawan Sahastrafana Parshvanath. Every stone in the pillars, ceilings and summits presents a vivid view of skilled craftsmanship. Seeing the idols here, one feels that there was a keen competition among the scupturists for delineating vivid beauty. The artistry of the main arched gate is really beautiful.

Guidelines: The railway station of Jesalmer is at a distance of 15 kilometers. Bus Service and Private Vehicles are available. There are boarding and lodging provisions.
