Shri Kundalpur Tirth

Mulnayak: Nearly 457 cms high, timber-colored idol of Bhagawan Mahavir in the Padmasana posture.
      

Tirth: It is on the Kundalkar hill near the Kundalpur village.
         
Historicity: This very ancient temple was renovated in the year 1548 of the vikram era. It is difficult to know more historical facts. This is the place of nirvana of Shridhar, the omniscient. Many miracles happened here. Known among the villagers as ‘Bade baba’, the idol of Bhagawan Mahavir Swami is very handsome. Thousands of faithful and devoted pilgrims come here to have their wishes fulfilled. It is difficult to see elesehwere such ancient, splendid, large and beautiful idol.

Other Temples: Besides this, there are 46 temples on the hills and 18 temples at the foot of the hill.

Works of art and Sculpture: The scene of the group of the temples on the hill, is very fascinating. This artistic and splendid idol of Bade baba, is attractive and sighty. This miraculous idol is beyond description. At the foot of the hill, there is a large lake named Vardhman Sagar. It adds to the beauty of this tirth.
         
Guidelines: Damoh, the nearest railway station is at a distance of 15 kilometers and Hatta, the nearest village is at a distance of 16 kilometers from this place. Bus service and private vehicles are available. From the foot of the hill, there are strong steps for climbing the hill. Good Boarding and lodging provisions, are there at the foot of the hill.
