Shri Dahigaun Tirth

Mulnayak: Nearly 244 cms high, black-colored idol of Bhagawan Mahavir Swami in the Padmasana posture.
   
Tirth:
It is in the center of Dahigaun.
     
Historicity: This ancient tirth is believed to be very ridiculous. Devotees get free from physical troubles and mental agonies by Mahattisagarji meditating on the idol of this temple. Here are foot-idols of His Holiness Mahattisagarji Maharaj Saheb. They were installed in the year 1889 of the Vikram era. This temple was renovated in the year 1910 and the idol was installed by Pandit Gunachandraji.

Other Temples: At present, there are no other temples.

Works of art and Sculpture: On the walls of this ancient temple, ancient paintings are very beautifully and impressively painted. There are oil paintings of many Digambar Acharyas. There are really delightful. The idol of Bhagawan Mahavir looks wonderful, serene and delightful.
 
Guidelines: The nearest railway station of Pandharpur is at a distance of 64 kilometers and the nearest villages of Natapota is at a distance of nearly 7 kilometers. Bus services and private vehicles are available. Boarding and lodging provisions are available.
