Shri Shetrunjaya Dam Tirth

Mulnayak: Black - colored idol of Bhagawan Shetrunjaya Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.

Tirth: It is at a distance of two kilometers from the dam of the Shetrunjaya river on the way to Talaja from Palitana.

Historicity: This large Jain temple was built under the instructions of His Holiness Acharya Vijayanandsurisavarji. The chief idol is large, black, spelndid and attractive. This temple was formally installed on the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakh in the year 2030 of the Vikram era.

Other Temples: There are no other temples.

Works of art and Sculpture: From the artistic and sculptural points of view, this is a very beautiful and attractive temple of the modern age.

Guidelines: This sacred place on the dam on the bank of the Shetrunjaya river on the way to Talaja from Palitana, is at distance of only 8 kilometers from Palitana, Pilgrims can go there in
a bus from Palitana any pilgrims go there in a horse - carriage from Palitana. There are dharmashalas, bhojanashalas and an upashrayas.
