Shri Shankheshvar Padmavti Tirth

Mulnayak: Nearly 125 cms. high, white-colored idol of Padmavatidevi.

Tirth: It is on the chief road outside the Shankheshwar Village.

Historicity: Under the auspicious of the outstanding saint Acharya Shrimad Hemchandrasurisvarji and under the inspiration and with blessings of Muni Shri Lakendravijaji and Muni Shri Lekhendravijayji, this new temple was built in the year 2050 of the Vikram era. The idol of Shankheshvar Parshvanath is installed in the upper storey of this pinnacle temple. it is nearly 125 cms. high. The great festival of installation of the idol in temple lasted for 12 days and this deserved to be mentioned.

Other Temples: In the Shankheshvarji Tirth, there are the chief temple of Shankhershvar Parshvanath, the temple of 108 Bhaktivihar Parshvanath, the Agam temple, the Bhaktamar temple, the Gurumandir etc. besides this temple.

Works of art and Sculpture: This pinnacle temple has two storeys. Its structure is plain and simple. Besides the idol of Padmavatidevi, there are the idols of Sarasvatidevi, Mahalaxmidevi, Nakoda Bhairavji and Manibhadravir, installed in this temple.

Guidelines: The nearest railway station of Viramgam is at a distance of 55 kilometers. The bus service and private vehicles are available for traveling on the road from Viramgam to Radhanpur. This Padmavati tirth has its own dharmashala and Bhojanashala which are very well managed. In its compound, there is very good garden in which there are play things for children.
