Shri Nana Posina Tirth

Mulnayak: 76 cms. high, white-coloured idol of Bhagawan Posina Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.

Tirth: It is in the centre of the Nana Posina village.

Historicity: 1200 years ago, this idol was found by a farmer under a Kanther tree. He entrusted the idol to the Jain Sangha. The Jain Sangha built a temple and got the idol installed there. In course of time, it was renovated several times. On the sixth day of the dark half of the month of Posh in the year 2008 of the Vikram era, the chief idol and other idols are formally installed here under instructions and good auspices of His Holiness Acharyadevshri Labdhisurishvarji Maharaj Saheb. This temple is very delightful and beautiful.

Other Temples: There are no other temples.

Works of art and Sculpture: After its renovation, this temple looks very beautiful. Its artistry is extraordinary. There is a hood over the head of the idol.

Guidelines: This sacred place known as Sabli Posina or Nani Posina is at a distance of 22 kilometers from Idar in the Sabarkantha district. This sacred place is managed by Anandji Mangalji Pedhi in Idar. The nearest town is Idar. Board and lodging provisions and transport facilities are available.
