Tirth: It is in the vast open space in the central part of the city of Bhavnagar.

Historicity: Maharaj Bhavasinhaji settled Bhavnagar in the year 1979 of the Vikram era. Previously, it was know as the village of Vadva. This place on the sea - shore is the center of all religious activities. There is a large population of Jains in the city and suburbs of Bhavnagar. here are also the jain Dharma Pracharak Sabha, the Atmanand Jain Bhavan Library, the Yashovijayaji Granthamala, the Jain dispensary, the Jain Kanyashala and the Jain boarding. Many Jain monthlies and weeklies are published here.

Other Temples: In all, there are fourteen beautiful temples in Bhavnagar. The temple of Mahavir Swarni outside the city, is very splendid.

Works of art and Sculpture: The city of Bhavnagar on the sea - shore is a very ancient port, famous for trade. Since there is a large population of Jains, there are many temples in Bhavnagar. Their workmanship and sculpture are very splendid.

Guidelines: The nearest railway station is the Bhavnagar station. There are very good facilities of dharmashalas, bhojanshalas etc.
