Shri Laj Tirth

Mulnayak: Nearly 55 cms. high,white-colored idol of Bhagawan Adishvar in the Padmasana posture.

Tirth: It is in the center of Laj village.

Historicity: An inscription of the sixth day of the bright half of the month of Magh in the year 1244 of the Vikram era,is there on a pillar of the temple. It proves that the tirth belongs to the twelfth century. The last renovation was accomplished in the year 1977 of the Vikram era and the idol of Mulnayak Bhagawan Parshvanath was installed under the auspices of Mahindrasurisvarji. A fair is held here every year on the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Magasar.

Other Temples: There is no other temple.

Works of art and Sculpture: The workmanship of God’s idol is wonderful. The idol is serene and distinct.

Guidelines:
 Shirohi road, the nearest railway station is at a distance of eleven kilometers. Bus service and private vehicles are available. boarding and lodging provisions are there.
